Policy for Plagiarism
Plagiarism constitutes the unauthorized use or presentation of another individual’s intellectual work—including research findings, ideas, data, text, or creative expression—as one’s own. Such conduct may infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights and can carry academic, legal, and professional consequences.
The American Journal of Business Science Philosophy (AJBSP) publishes only original scholarly contributions. Submissions must not have been previously published, nor be under consideration elsewhere at the time of submission.
Authors bear full responsibility for the authenticity and originality of their work. All sources, whether textual, conceptual, or empirical, must be properly cited and acknowledged. Any material derived from other publications must be clearly referenced in accordance with accepted academic standards.
To uphold research integrity, all submitted manuscripts are screened for textual similarity using Crossref Similarity Check Powered by iThenticate or equivalent plagiarism-detection software. This screening is conducted prior to editorial review to ensure compliance with the journal’s originality requirements.
The inclusion of unattributed material—whether from published or unpublished sources—constitutes academic misconduct. Where plagiarism is identified, appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the journal’s ethical policies. Sanctions may include rejection of the manuscript, withdrawal of a published article, notification of the authors’ affiliated institutions, or other corrective measures deemed necessary to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
